# Localization

> Configure organization language, regional formats, and interface display preferences.

Localization settings keep language, time, number, and interface text consistent for the organization. They improve usability and operations communication; they do not change data permissions.

## Management Boundary

| Language    | Choose the organization default language and confirm key pages are translated. |
| Region      | Configure time, date, number, and currency display preferences.                |
| Scope       | Define how organization defaults interact with personal preferences.           |
| Maintenance | Update translations when menus, errors, and help docs change.                  |

## Before Configuration

* Identify primary user languages and cross-region team needs.
* Check key admin pages for untranslated or mixed-language text.
* Confirm search, navigation, and error messages are understandable.

## Verification

* Switch languages and check navigation, tables, and buttons.
* Validate time, date, and number formats.
* Confirm new features do not fall back to untranslated text.
